Season 03 Reloaded is here with the launch of Warzone Ranked Beta, a brand new episode of Atomgrad Raid, a new Demilitarized Zone game room, a new base multiplayer map, and more! Read on for all the details and changes for this season in Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0.

Staffel 03 Reloaded Camouflage Challenge

• Our seasonal event is a continuation of the popular camouflage challenges we had in Season 02. Complete a weapon category challenge to unlock a new camouflage for each weapon in that category.

• Complete all ten to earn another new camouflage for each weapon category, as well as a special weapon charm to show you've mastered the Reloaded trophy hunt.

• The challenges of this event include:

  • A compelling, highly skilled alternative to the throwing knife, the throwing star requires greater accuracy from its wielder. While less accurate hits won't result in a kill, the ammo capacity and quick deployment more than make up for it.

• The delay between first equipping a weapon and firing it has been reduced for many weapons.

Quick lifting and quick lowering

• The quick raise and quick lower speeds have been increased evenly, allowing for quicker docking - further enhanced by Fast Hands.

Added maximum armor damage values ​​for all Assault Rifles, Combat Rifles, SMGs, and Light Machine Guns. These stats help slow down the kill time at close range.

Atomgrad Raid Episode 03 is now available!

• After tracking down Alex, Gaz breaks off to establish communication with Laswell and send Exfil. Now Price, Farah and Alex must venture deeper into the Soviet base and descend into a giant pit where they must navigate through ancient railway tunnels and electrified waters. With Hadir and the missing warhead still on the loose, every minute counts. Complete Raid Episode 03 to unlock Alex as an operator.

New mission: Defender: Port of Hafida is now available!

• Travel to the port of Hafid in Al Mazrah and take command of a new cartel operation. This will not be an easy task: after eliminating their first line of defense, you will have to defend yourself against many waves of increasingly sophisticated enemy forces.

Warzone Rank Play Season 03 (BETA) coming in a few minutes for all players who have reached level 45.

Play competitive 150-player Battle Royale matches with competitive settings developed by Treyarch, Raven Software and Infinity Ward. Going forward, players can expect 1:1 synchronized setups between ranked matches and World Series of Warzone.

Ultimately, the goal of ranked play is to provide a competitive and fair play system while ensuring a consistent experience across all Battle Royale modes. To achieve this, ranked play (BETA) will be launched with initial gameplay restrictions to gather critical feedback and data for the full launch of ranked play in Season 04 and beyond.

SR (skill assessment) and divisions

Test yourself against your peers and track your progress with visible SR (Skill Rating), which determines your place in 8 skill divisions.

• All players start our first Competitive Season in Bronze I with 0 SR.
• Players receive SRs based on in-game performance, with SRs awarded for kills, assists, and surviving other teams.

  • Kills and assists
    • Players gain SR each time they get a kill or an assist in every match, with kills and assists being treated equally to encourage teammates to work together.
    • Players also gain some SR each time a teammate kills an enemy, even if they didn't contribute to the kill.
    • To reward high-stakes kills in the late game, SR increases over the course of each game based on the number of teams remaining:

• End of season skill failure:At the end of each season, your final skill class determines where you will start the next season:
  • Bronze through Crimson players start at Skill Division I below where they landed last season.
  • Iridescent and Top 250 players start with Diamond I.

Leaderboard and top 250 division

• The Top 250 division comes to Warzone, placing the top 250 players in the world on an in-game leaderboard that all players can see in the Warzone ranked play lobby.
  • The Top 250 list will be active from the first day of each season.
  • Players qualify for the Top 250 and appear on the leaderboard when they reach over 10,000 SR. The top 250 players with the highest SR over 10,000 stay on the leaderboard and fight for 1st place until the end of the season.
• Final bragging rights:In addition to a new rank and seasonal rewards in Warzone 2, the top ranked player will receive a unique, one-of-a-kind calling card and emblem at the end of each season.

Ranks and awards

• Ranked Warzone joins Modern Warfare 2's ranked multiplayer offering the most rewarding competitive Call of Duty experience ever, with a variety of valuable rewards available to players at launch and season after season.
• Unlocked rewards can be used in Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty®: Warzone™ 2.0. Unlock everything the mode has to offer and show off your rank and skills no matter where you play.
• Ranks and rank rewards
  • Separate from the player's DR and skill class is the rank. The rank persists through the seasons to celebrate the player's journey through their entire ranked career.
  • All players start at Rank 1 and can progress up to Rank 50.
  • Players increase their rank by earning stars. Each game is eligible for three (3) stars based on placement in the game. Earn enough stars to advance to the next rank.
    • Stars awarded by venue:

      • Top 10: 2 stars
      • 1st place: 3 stars
  • Every 5 ranks, players upgrade their rank icon and unlock various rank rewards:

Competitive integrity features

• Team Withdrawal/Game Cancellation:If you lose a teammate added to a match before the game starts, your team will be moved back to the lobby so you don't start the game with a debuff. If too many teams are withdrawn before the game starts, we all go back to the lobby to find a better game.

• Prohibitions and penalties:Aborting matches prematurely will result in SR penalties and matchmaking bans. Repeated disconnects result in higher SR penalties and longer bans.

• Forgiveness SR:If a teammate gets disconnected while playing, you won't lose game SR. You can still get SR if you get more than the commitment fee.

• Degradation Protection and Division Stickiness:Every time you move up to a new division you get 3 relegation protection games where you don't lose SR. Once those matches are over and you've lost enough SR where you would normally be demoted, we'll move you to a division SR minimum (for example gold is 2100 SR) to give you another shot before you get demoted.

• Event SR restrictions:To ensure equality and balance when playing in higher skill divisions, players in some divisions may only group with players close to their current SR. The player with the highest Skill Rating in the group determines which group DR restrictions apply:
  • Iridescent (including Top 250) and Crimson:Can party with players in skill division
  • Diamond:Can form groups within 2 skill divisions
  • Bronze - Platinum:Unlimited celebrations

Additional features

• Find a party:Warzone ranked players can use the Find Team feature to find teammates of similar skill before looking for a match.
  • This feature includes the following preference filters:
    • In-game communication style: No preference, only voice, ping and text
    • Main Language: Select up to 3 language settings: English (EN), French (FR), German (DE), Italian (IT) or Spanish (EU) (ES).
    • Playstyle: Competitive has been pre-selected and remains locked in Team Finder.

• Hot streaks:Win a ranked match to earn the winstreak flames that appear behind the ranked icon in the lobby and in-game. Extend your winning streak to accelerate the flames. Winstreak Flames expire after being eliminated or after 72 hours of not playing a ranked match. Do a lap and the competition will know the fever is on.

• Social profile:Your WZ-Ranked Play icon will be added to your social profile wherever your profile appears in Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty®: Warzone™ 2.0.

New properties

• Operational buying stationNew field update
  • This new field upgrade is a rare loot that can be obtained from ground loot and supply boxes.
  • When the player drops a deployment marker, green smoke will mark the coordinates of the drone which will drop a deployable buy station at the target location.
  • The Delivery Drone can be shot down and destroyed by any player by dropping a deployable Buy Station at its current coordinates.
  • When a Buy Station Deployment Marker is placed, a notification will be sent to all nearby players and icons on the Tac Map and Minimap will be visible to all players regardless of distance.
  • Additional Comments:
    • Radial blast damage occurs upon impact with the ground.
    • Any player can interact with it once it is on the ground.
    • It works like a normal trading station - and contains the same stock of items.
    • It is deactivated when running on gas.
    • There is no expiration timer.

• Perk packs to earnNew category!
  • Perk Packs are now treated as items that can be obtained through looting, station purchases, and mid-match eliminations in addition to traditional custom gear.
  • Standard Perk Packs are available as loot of the same rarity or through Buy Stations for $3,500:

    • Players cannot equip an active Perk Pack unless it is replaced with another.

Al Mazrah | Royal battle

  • Found in Floor Loot and Supply Chests, this rare item offers players an additional Gulag Trial if they have already entered the Gulag during a match.
  • Players can only complete one trial of The Gulag - including the first free trial that players receive in Infil.
  • Players with one try left, including the first free try, will receive $2,000 in cash when the Gulag closes.

We've heard feedback that players want to be more confident about the content of their shopping stations, as well as the amount of each item. We agree with this opinion, but will continue to monitor it and adjust prices in future seasonal updates.

  • The radius of the sending station capture zone has been doubled.

• Use the drones again

    • Players using Al Mazrah drone redeployment now receive increased vertical acceleration on launch to better match map size.

    • Drone spawn points are now static across games.
    • Now redeploy drones before fill to allow players to plan their best fill strategies.

Al Mazrah | Royal battle

• Equipment Drops
  • Contested Tier 2 and Tier 5 loadout drops have been changed to team loadout to suit Ranked Play (BETA) and Respawn.

• Enemy fighters

    • Armor plates removed
    • Decreased accuracy by approx. 27%
    • Primary weapon limited to Kastow 762
    • Equipment is limited to frag, semtex and gas grenades

• Gulag
  • Decreased the number of armor plates players spawn with from 3 to 2.
    • This change does not affect ranked play, which remains at tier 3.

Al Mazrah | revival

• Payload drop event
  • A second public loadout event has been added to Massive Resurgence.
    • This is when the fifth circle begins to close.
